16 Autumn Photos That Will Inspire You to Get Outside
Autumn is my absolute favorite time of year. I love getting outside, especially in the mountains, to see the colors of the leaves. It’s like a magical blanket that covers the forest. Hot chocolate and hot apple cider on a picnic after visiting the pumpkin patch. We love a good ol”fashion hay ride on a back country road. Throwing straw at each other is a must. We love to visit the apple orchards and grab jellies, relishes and peanut brittle. We make a day of just driving through the mountain road and stopping at the mom and pop store just off the beaten path.
Autumn is the season that my children love the most. It’s the traditions that they remember and look forward to each year. My oldest son, at 17, was goofy silly this year when he got his plastic apple full of cider. He’s been getting one every year since he could remember. We can’t leave the orchards with out the fried pies or the peanut-butter candy.
While these are not my pictures, I love the warmth of fall that they show. They are absolutely beautiful. If you can’t make it to the mountains this year to enjoy the fall colors, I hope you enjoy these pictures.
